Honoring the Darkest Night, Inviting the Light
On the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, we honor the stillness, the shadows, and the quiet turning of the seasons. This sacred pause invites us to slow down, rest deeply, and connect with the wisdom of the dark—a time of reflection, release, and renewal. In this 90-minute session, we’ll weave together:
✨ Candlelit Restorative + Yin Yoga – Settle into gentle, supported postures that nurture the body, soothe the nervous system, and invite a sense of grounding and surrender. This practice honors the earth’s stillness and creates space to release tension and find ease.
✨ Yoga Nidra Meditation – Drift into the meditative state of yogic sleep, where deep relaxation meets conscious awareness. Through guided imagery and intention-setting, we’ll explore the quiet, fertile energy of the solstice, planting seeds for the light to come.
The Winter Solstice is a bridge: a time to honor the dark and embrace its wisdom, while welcoming the slow return of the light. Symbolically, it is the rebirth of the sun—a reminder that even in the quietest, darkest moments, the light is waiting to rise.
Bring your yoga mat, blanket, and an open heart. Come as you are, ready to rest, restore, and honor this threshold of the season. We'll share tea, inspirations from solstice lore & poetry, and relaxation. Register here.
